Bigfoot Cinderrrrrella by Tony Johnston

I read a book called Bigfoot Cinderrrrrella. It is about  Cinderrrrrella, two mean stepsisters, and one mean stepmother. Cinderrrrrella had to do all of the work. She had to cut the tree, clean up the forest house, and dust the floor. Cinderrrrrella heard that her two mean stepsisters and her stepmother were going to the ball. Cinderrrrrella asked to go the ball with them but the stepsisters said,'' You're too dirty to go to the ball.'' Cinderrrrrella was so sad when she heard that. Cinderrrrrella was sitting and she saw a fairybear. The fairybear turned Cinderrrrrella into a beauiful gold fur. Fairybear said, '' You have to be back at 12:00 midnight so Cinderrrrrella ran to the ball and everybody stared at her. Prince Bigfoot danced all night with her. When it was midnight Cinderrrrrella ran out and left her bigfoot shoe. Prince Bigfoot saw the shoe and tried to look for the girl with whom he had danced. He tried every girl, but it wouldn`t  fit . Than he saw Cinderrrrrella, it fit and they got married. review by Kathy S.

The characters in this book are Homer, the robbers, Aroma, Mr. Deggs and the sheriff.  The setting is at Homer's house and Centralburg.  When Homer goes to the kitchen to eat cookies, he pours milk in Tabby's bowl.  A skunk comes in instead of Tabby and Homer thought it would be cool to have a pet skunk.  He names it Aroma.  Then Homer goes to Centralburg.  When he gets there robbers come and steal all the lotion and money.  They use the lotion to shave off their beards and use the money to stay at Homer's house which has rooms to rent.  When Homer comes back home, he sees men that look like the robbersfrom Centralburg.  Homer calls the sheriff to tell him that the robbers are at his house.  When the robbers are fighting, Homer opens the door and lets Aroma in.  The roberrs look at Aroma and don't make any movement because they are afraid they will be sprayed.  Homer crawls into the room to get their guns and then says"Put your hands up".  He takes the robbers to the sheriff.  Homer and Aroma catch the robbers.  review by Jenny E.

Lunch Money by Andrew Clements

Lunch Money is about a kid named Greg Kenton and he is a very good business guy.  He never took any money lessons, but when he was a little preschooler his two lazy brother paid him to do their chores.  Making beds, ten cents, putting dirty clothes in the laundry, five cents, hanging up used towels, three cents each, and putting clean clothes away, two cents.  But then, his mom made him stop his business and let his brothers Ross and Edward do their own chores.  Then Greg took charge of recycling his family's trash once a week.  It is a good book to read.  Yesenia G.
