March and April
Hey everyone! We are having an exciting time in Physical Education these days. I would like to welcome Lindsey Young for the next 6 weeks. She is a student teacher from Kennesaw State University. She will be taking an active role in teaching our classes for the time that she is here with us. Please make her feel welcome if you see her in the halls. We are working on basketball skills in class right now. We have been working on dribbling, passing and have started working on shooting this week. We will finish up with basketball skills this week and move on to bowling skills next week. Cosmic Bowling night will be on April 2, 2009. There will be three different sessions. K-1 will be held from 5:30-6:00, 2-3 from 6:00-6:30 and 4-5 from 6:30-7:00. It will be held in the gym and please come with your child during the times listed above. The Relay for Life Team will be selling pizza and cokes as a fundraiser.
Spring Break is right aroung the corner. Hope everyone has a safe and fun spring break. Come back refreshed and ready to get ready for physical fitness testing.
